Who and what this applies to

Contractor registration for work on structures under §5-65-3, subject to the exemptions in §5-65-2.

Thresholds and scope

The $250,000 “contract for construction” definition is not a registration threshold.

The rules

• Section 5-65-3 requires a current valid registration before undertaking, offering or bidding covered contractor work. A partnership, company, corporation or joint venture must itself be registered and designate a responsible individual. Source

Registration is required before covered offers, bids or work.
